Headshots and Branding
We are living in a digital world of advertising, networking, blogging, and marketing. Digital marketing via your website, social media accounts, and email requires eye catching imagery and enticing text. I can offer a collection of company and/or product specific stock images for your on-going use or provide photos of your office, business, or product to use for promotional material. In addition, headshots are a critical piece of many professional portfolios, also for use on your website, business card, online accounts, and more. There are two styles of headshots: studio style with a standard backdrop giving a timeless and clean look, or environmental, which could be outside, in your office or place of business offering a more natural look. You can choose one or both. I travel to you for both and can bring a pop-up studio with professional lighting.
You professional head shot is your first impression to your clients and online business network. You and/or your employer, will use it on websites, professional content material, social media sources, and more. It is a necessity in this digital age. Unless there are dramatic changes to your look, your headshot will last you 2-3 years. I recommend taking the time to consider impressionable details when it comes to hair and makeup, as well attention to what you wear. Haircuts and/or color touch ups should be done one week prior to your head shot. Makeup should be fresh and bring along that powder! If you want to be professionally styled let me know and I can get someone for you.
Your head shot should reflect your role in the business world. Are you in sales, marketing, or banking? Are you in construction, renovation, or design? Are you a medical professional, health and wellness coach, or personal trainer? Are you a musician, actor, or artist? Think about how you want to present yourself to your clients and dress to impress. Suits may be best for some, while a casual look will highlight others. I recommend staying away from distracting bold prints, logos, or trendy styles and stick with neutrals, grays, or blues. Layering is always a nice look. There are some ideas linked Here.
